Andrea Wiesner is part of the Monitoring Electoral Democracy (MEDem) team, which is responsible for establishing a research infrastructure for democracy research data. In addition, she coordinates the Research Network for Democracy and Human Rights. She completed her PhD (summa cum laude) at the Political Communication Research Group, supervised by Dr. Sophie Lecheler.

Before joining the CCL Team, Andrea earned Bachelor and Masters degrees in Journalism and Communication Studies at the University of Vienna and gained professional experience in advertising and public relations.
