On March 2, 2017, Jakob-Moritz Eberl defended his dissertation: "Media Bias in Political News Coverage: Revisiting Sources, Effects and Perceptions".
The members of his dissertation committee Prof. Sylvia Kritzinger and Prof. David N. Hopmann as well as his supervisors Prof. Hajo G. Boomgaarden and Assoc. Prof. Markus Wagner were impressed with Jakob-Moritz's performance. No wonder he passed with distinction.
