Muhammad (Ruzza) Noor Fakhruzzaman is a PhD research fellow funded by the Ernst-Mach Grant ASEA-UNINET and supervised by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Annie Waldherr and co-supervised by Dr. Aytalina Kulichkina. His PhD project focuses on Issue-centered framing in Indonesian election news and the influence of media ownership. His methods include qualitative content analysis, in-depth interviews, and computational text analysis.


Before joining as a PhD fellow, he was an assistant professor in Data Science at Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia. Ruzza achieved his Master's degree, co-majored in Human-Computer Interaction and Mass Communication at Iowa State University, and his Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Indonesia.
