Eleven project partners from nine European countries met to discuss ongoing work and strengthen interdisciplinary collaborations across working groups. Fabienne Lind and Veronika Ebner presented their work-in-progress on computational approaches to detect climate action discourses on social media platforms, classifying emotions and exploring digital climate boundaries. Climate boundaries is an emerging concept, which helps us better understand the role of emotions in processes of polarisation.
CCL members work in close collaboration with colleagues at the Department of Sociology, University of Vienna, bridging qualitative and quantitative research in mixed-methods designs to develop this concept further.Find more updates on the project here: cidape.eu.
